Aromatherapy is a treatment designed to help maintain physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing by the correct application of pure essential oils.
Since an aromatherapy treatment is concerned with creating balance and equilibrium within a person, its primary uses are to clam, uplift, detoxify, de-stress and invigorate—to help the body regain health or well-being.
Having trained at the Institute of Traditional and Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy (ITHMA) in London under the direction of Gabriel Mojay, I tend to select the essential oils using a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approach. Each essential oil has its own chemical components and therefore, its own individual therapeutic properties. Following an initial assessment, I will select the most relevant essential oil for you on that particular day. This approach is holistic as I will take into consideration your physical but also emotional health.
A full consultation will be taken to include questions about your general health, medical history and emotional wellbeing. This information is treated with the utmost of respect and is confidential.
